Our story
A Family Affair Foundation, Inc. is a family-led, multigenerational 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our Board of Directors and committees are made up entirely of family members who volunteer their time and professional expertise to carry our mission forward.
In 2024, family members came together in honor of our family legacy to establish A Family Affair. Guided by our shared mission, we committed to strengthening our family bond through community fundraisers and providing “A Family Affair Scholarship,” for younger generations.
In 2025, the organization transitioned into A Family Affair Foundation, Inc., a registered nonprofit private foundation and was officially granted 501(c)(3) status.
Rooted in a rich tradition of bringing people together through social celebrations, our elders passed down core values that define who we are: integrity, resilience, mutual care, and family unity.
While we have always recognized the joy and power of these social gatherings, we envisioned a deeper purpose for our collective energy: to transform our gatherings into a pathway for opportunity, directly supporting the leaders of tomorrow through higher education scholarships.
